Training
Continuing Professional Education
We provide a comprehensive continuing education program consisting of 120 hours of training over a three-year period. A wide selection of in-house courses is available. The firm also provides reimbursement for approved travel and lodging when you attend out-of-town programs.
Educational Reimbursement
BlumShapiro encourages the pursuit of graduate studies in accounting, taxation and other programs related to our activities.
CPA Examination
To assist you in studying for the CPA exam, we provide ExamMatrix and Becker CPA Review software at discounted rates. In addition, the firm provides four paid study days to prepare for the exam, paid days to take the exam and financial assistance for exam costs.

Career Counseling
Embarking on a new career can be full of uncertainty. At BlumShapiro, you will have an advisor — a manager or supervisor who is available to provide career guidance and offer periodic feedback on performance. New staff accountants are also assigned to a buddy who is an experienced staff or senior accountant available to answer day-to-day questions.
Professional Societies
The involvement in professional societies enhances personal growth and professional development. We encourage individuals to join these organizations and we will reimburse certain membership fees.
